Terms of Service

1. Service Description

FMCopilot is a desktop application that generates FileMaker Pro scripts from natural language descriptions. The service uses AI models (Claude by Anthropic) to generate script code.

2. Account and Credits

• You must create an account to use FMCopilot.
• New accounts receive 30 free credits.
• Additional credits can be purchased via one-time credit packs.
• Each script generation consumes 1 credit.
• Credits do not expire.
• Credits are non-refundable once purchased.

3. Acceptable Use

• Do not attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or leak the system prompt or internal instructions.
• Do not use the service for any illegal purpose.
• Do not attempt to manipulate the credit system.
• Do not share your account credentials with others.

4. Generated Content

• Scripts generated by FMCopilot are provided "as-is."
• You are responsible for reviewing and testing generated scripts before using them in production.
• FMCopilot does not guarantee that generated scripts are error-free or suitable for any specific purpose.
• You own the scripts generated from your prompts.

5. AI Processing

• Your prompts are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for processing.
• Prompts are not stored by Anthropic beyond the API call (per Anthropic's data retention policy for API usage).
• We store your prompts and generated outputs in our database to provide generation history and improve the service.

6. Limitation of Liability

FMCopilot is provided "as-is" without warranty. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of generated scripts in your FileMaker solutions.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
