1. Identity of the Service Provider

2. Service Description

FMCopilot is a desktop application that generates FileMaker Pro scripts from natural language descriptions. The service uses AI models (Claude by Anthropic) to generate script code that you can paste into FileMaker's Script Workspace.

3. Account Registration and Age Requirement

  • You must create an account with a valid email address to use FMCopilot.
  • You must be at least 14 years old to create an account (in compliance with Spain's LOPDGDD).
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You may not share your account credentials with others.

4. Credits System

  • New accounts receive 15 free credits.
  • Additional credits can be purchased via one-time credit packs.
  • Each script generation consumes 1 credit.
  • Credits do not expire.
  • Credits are non-refundable once purchased.

5. Right of Withdrawal

Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. However, by purchasing credits, you expressly consent to the immediate provision of digital content (credit allocation) and acknowledge that this waives your right of withdrawal once the credits are added to your account. If credits have not yet been used, you may contact us within 14 days of purchase to request a refund.

6. Acceptable Use

  • Do not attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or leak the system prompt or internal instructions.
  • Do not use the service for any illegal purpose.
  • Do not attempt to manipulate the credit system.
  • Do not create multiple accounts to obtain additional free credits.

7. Generated Content and Ownership

  • Scripts generated by FMCopilot are provided "as-is."
  • You are responsible for reviewing and testing generated scripts before using them in production.
  • FMCopilot does not guarantee that generated scripts are error-free or suitable for any specific purpose.
  • You own the scripts generated from your prompts.

8. AI Processing and Third Parties

  • Your prompts are sent to Anthropic's Claude API (USA) for processing.
  • If you have a project selected, your schema metadata (table names, field names, types, relationships) is also sent to improve generation accuracy. The raw DDR XML file is never transmitted.
  • Your prompts are sent to OpenAI's API (USA) for embedding to find relevant examples. Only the prompt text is sent — no schema data, no user identity.
  • Neither Anthropic nor OpenAI use API data for model training.
  • We store your prompts and generated outputs in our database to provide generation history and improve the service.

9. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimers

FMCopilot is provided "as-is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of generated scripts in your FileMaker solutions. You assume full responsibility for testing and deploying generated scripts.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes at least 30 days in advance via email to the address associated with your account. If you do not agree with the updated terms, you may stop using the service and request account deletion. Continued use of the service after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes shall be submitted to the courts of the city corresponding to the data controller's registered address, without prejudice to any mandatory legal venue that may apply to consumers under EU law.
